Rob Shrum is the Founder and CEO of Nexus Public Affairs, a government affairs and public policy firm that works with corporate government affairs teams, trade associations, and public affairs firms.

Rob brings extensive advocacy, government affairs, and technology and telecommunications policy experience. He founded Nexus Public Affairs to close the gap between what government affairs teams can see and what they need to know.

Before founding Nexus, Rob led external affairs and stakeholder engagement solutions at the state and local government relations firm MultiState. He previously held leadership roles at National Taxpayers Union and National Taxpayers Union Foundation, led grassroots advocacy programs for CTIA — The Wireless Association, and worked at organizations including the American Legislative Exchange Council and the Tax Foundation.
